Her Side of Life
By Inci Jones
Real talk about wellness, beauty, aging, and life for Gen X women.
Her Side of Life is a no-BS lifestyle, wellness, and beauty publication for Gen X women who grew up in the 1970s, '80s, and '90s.
Each issue explores what actually matters to women in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and beyond. That includes realistic wellness, skincare, aging well, money, technology, food, and building a life that feels good on your own terms.
It is also a place to have a little fun and remember the experiences that shaped our generation. The beauty products we tried, the things our parents let us do, the music and television we loved, and the memories that make another Gen Xer say, "I remember that too."
The goal is not to lecture readers or tell women how they should live. It is to research the questions many of us are asking, share useful discoveries, and create the feeling of an honest conversation with someone who understands this stage of life.
About Inci Jones
Inci Jones is a writer, author, and health and beauty insider with more than 25 years of experience in digital marketing, wellness, beauty, and consumer communication.
She created Her Side of Life to give Gen X women a place where they can find useful information without the hype, unrealistic promises, or condescending advice that often surrounds women's health and aging.
Her approach combines careful research, professional experience, personal perspective, and the belief that women deserve honest answers delivered by someone who talks with them, not at them.
Topics include:
Wellness · Beauty and skincare · Healthy aging · Money and everyday life · Useful technology · Food · Gen X nostalgia

Thought Row Vignettes
By Rod Jones, Artist-Writer
Original short stories for readers who want to escape the scroll.
Thought Row Vignettes is a collection of unconventional short stories, literary vignettes, and occasional think pieces written for people who still enjoy getting lost in a good story.
These are human-written works centered on characters, relationships, unexpected encounters, difficult choices, quiet realizations, and the strange turns that can change an ordinary life.
Some stories are humorous. Others are reflective, romantic, mysterious, or slightly surreal. Each one offers readers a brief opportunity to step away from feeds, algorithms, and constant online noise and enter a different place for a while.
The stories are short enough to read over coffee but developed enough to stay with you after you have finished.
About Rod Jones
Rod Jones is an artist, writer, former commercial photographer, and brand marketing consultant whose creative work is shaped by decades of observing people, personalities, and the stories behind them.
For 20 years, Rod owned and operated a major commercial photography studio in San Diego. His clients included celebrities, prominent political figures, business leaders, fashion professionals, and a wide range of commercial brands and organizations. His work spanned high-fashion photography, executive and celebrity portraiture, advertising campaigns, and general commercial photography.
Rod later shifted his career toward marketing and consulting, bringing his visual storytelling experience into brand strategy, direct-response television, print advertising, and retail sales. This combination of photography, marketing, and business experience gave him a distinctive understanding of how people communicate, how brands tell stories, and what captures an audience's attention.
Those experiences now inform his fiction. His stories frequently find meaning in overlooked moments, unusual circumstances, complicated relationships, and characters who are not always what they first appear to be.
Through Thought Row Vignettes, Rod creates original, human-written fiction for readers who value imagination, memorable characters, and storytelling with an individual point of view.
Readers will find:
Original short fiction · Literary vignettes · Unconventional characters · Human relationships · Humor and reflection · Occasional think pieces
